Wed29Jul2015River Bend- Lyons, CO
Please join the Colorado Haiti Project at The Lyons Farmette’s River Bend property on July 29th for our second annual Farm Dinner Benefit for Haiti. At 6:00 we will gather on the beautiful banks of the St. Vrain River to enjoy happy hour treats and the music of Eldorado Canyon bluegrass band, Psychodillo. Special guests will share with us their personal stories about the impacts of the Colorado Haiti Project’s Agriculture Education, Professional Scholarship, and Entrepreneurship Development Programs. Savory Cuisines will prepare a delicious Haitian-inspired dinner for us from many locally grown ingredients including produce from the 63rd Street Farm and goat from El Regalo Ranch. We will end our time together with dessert from Spice of Life Catering and the Colorado Rose Cake Company and play games by the bonfire. This evening promises to be a fun and memorable celebration of Coloradans’ successful 25-year partnership with rural Haitian communities to support their rise out of extreme poverty.
Table sections for six or more guests will be offered at a discounted rate through July 15th. If you are interested in purchasing a section of a table please call the CHP office at (303) 938-5021. Your ticket price includes a three-course meal and two adult beverages. After our memorable evening on the river please consider spending the night at peaceful River Bend in a Wee Casa.
