The Konbit Program is named for a Haitian Creole word meaning "to gather together for a community project." Since 1996 when Marti O’Dell founded Konbit, CHP’s community of friends across Colorado have supported children at the St. Paul’s School at Petit Trou de Nippes. An annual sponsorship of $300 provides tuition aid, books, supplies, uniforms, an annual physical, and a hot meal on school days. You’ll receive a recent photo of a child enrolled at St. Paul’s, together with information about him or her. Your sponsorship means dependable nutrition, and on many days is the only food a student will eat. Most of all, your support creates hope for the future, for your student and your student’s family. For our children at St. Paul’s, like all those in Haiti, education is the single most important way to escape a life of hopeless poverty. We’re working together to lift the children of Petit Trou into lives of hope, reaching out in love to help one child at a time. “Konbit!” – and join our community of sponsors.
