St. Paul's Church was our first capital project. It was funded by the Diocese of Colorado and built in 1998. Today, the church is filled each Sunday with an enthusiastic and growing congregation. However, as the only completed building on the mission site, it has many other uses as well.
During the week, St. Paul's Church transforms into a large, one-room school building that shelters the younger grades of St. Paul's school. When we arrive for medical mission, the church doubles as a clinic and pharmacy.
The Colorado Haiti Project has started a capital campaign to add buildings to the mission site. These building include a proper school building for both primary and seconday classes, a vocational school and women's center, as well as a permanent medical clinic.
