Alison is engaged in the program for Nonprofit Management at Regis University and a participant in the Global Studies Leadership Cohort. She holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she was awarded membership to the Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Alison is a Colorado native, speaks French, and has traveled in Europe, West Africa, and South Africa. As an undergraduate Alison spent a semester in Madagascar, during which time she lived out of a tent while conducting a demographic study of Ring-tailed Lemurs. Her current interests include exploring the world with her son Winston, aged 4. This summer they spent 3 weeks in the Seychelles Islands.

Alison has a sustaining passion for sustainable development and is committed to upholding the mission of the Colorado Haiti Project.

Amber Walker was raised in Colorado and is a recent graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a BA in Psychology and International Affairs.  Amber enjoys adventure travel and international missions. During college she spent time in the Dominican Republic teaching English and Geography to school children in a Haitian refugee village.

Her two greatest passions in life are humanitarian work through sustainable development and sharks. She considers herself well-versed on both subjects and is actively seeking opportunities to combine the two. A member of the Flatirons Community Church, she is thrilled to be a contributing member of the community that surrounds the Colorado Haiti Project.
